Services for Solar Array Projects
Topographic has provided survey, environmental, engineering, and geotechnical services for several solar array projects located throughout Texas. The development acreage for these projects ranged from 250 acres to 2,700 acres.
Survey services included establishing a control point network, parcel and right-of-way boundary retracement (ALTA survey plat), identify and locate improvements on-site, topographic survey, and current aerial imagery.
Environmental services included aquatic resource delineations; opinion of suitable habitat for threatened, endangered, candidate, rare, or species of concern; migratory bird and raptor studies; and phase I environmental site assessments. Cultural resources investigations were provided by one of our partnering firms.
Engineering services dealt specifically with hydraulic/hydrologic analyses in areas where development encroached into FEMA designated floodplains.

Services for Axium & RP Construction Services
Survey and Construction Staking services for Priority Power together with Axium & RP Construction Services - Topographic has provided ALTA Survey and Construction Staking services for the civil and mechanical construction phases of solar array construction projects in West Texas. The number of staked points for these array layouts consisted of between 4000 5000 points (piers, equipment pads, inverters, and other electrical appurtenances) with an accuracy of within 0.10’ to allow for accurate placement of the mechanical features on the foundation piers. Civil grading and site items such as gravel roads and project area fencing were also staked. Topographic mobilized to each site and completed all requested staking within five days each.
