Safety

Topographic is dedicated to the safety of our employees and to meeting the safety requirements of our customers as we perform our work for them. The effectiveness of our safety program and the commitment we have made are illustrated by the ongoing improvement in our safety performance statistics. National Safety Qualifications

Our safety program has been professionally developed by a third-party safety contractor and has been approved by the national Owner Clients for whom we work. Our programs are audited annually and meet the strictest qualifying criteria from the following national agencies: Topographic Surveying and Mapping - Safety

  • ISN (Drug & Alcohol Testing/ES&H)
  • PEC/Premier Safety Management (Drug & Alcohol Testing/ES&H)
  • National Compliance Management Service (Drug & Alcohol Testing/ES&H)
  • Veriforce (Drug & Alcohol Testing/ES&H)

Operator Qualifications Program

Our Operator Qualification (OQ) program complies with the Qualification of Pipeline Personnel directives of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Pipeline Safety. Our operators are trained and certified under programs qualified by Veriforce, NCCER, and customer specifications. Our OQ program is designed to ensure that all individuals working on DOT-regulated pipelines are OQ-qualified to perform specific covered tasks, to document that qualification, and to reduce the probability and consequences of incidents and accidents.
